About our family
Based in Hamilton, Ontario, Iron Presa is dedicated to raising sound, healthy, and gentle Presa Canarios. For nearly two decades, our goal has never been commercial breeding, but shaping calm, reliable companions that fit naturally into family life.
Two decades of devotion to the breed
We have loved and lived with Presa Canarios for nearly twenty years. Instead of high-volume or high-drive working lines, we selectively plan an occasional litter with one priority in mind: cultivating the ideal family guardian. Our dogs are powerful and impressive, yet inherently calm, loyal, and steady companions in the home.
Raised right at home with our family
From day one, our puppies live directly alongside us. They are carefully socialized with children, other dogs, and household cats, and we introduce foundational manners early on. By the time they join your household, they are accustomed to everyday family sounds, gentle handling, and diverse companionship.
Health-tested lineage and dedicated care
Every Iron Presa puppy carries documented lineage tracing back multiple generations. Parent dogs are thoroughly health-tested and allergy-tested with clean bills of health. Each pup comes vet-checked with age-appropriate shots, alongside a clear first-year care guide and support with raw or kibble nutrition transitions.
"Our Iron Presa puppy integrated seamlessly with our kids and household pets. Their gentle demeanor and balanced temperament reflect the wonderful care they receive from day one."
